9 Full-time 7 hours ago Full Job Description Key Responsibilities Production Planning Actively participate in regular S&OP meetings to understand customer demands and priorities, and to identify operational risks / opportunities Translate demand plans into short- and long-term production plans including tirage, riddling, disgorge and bottling activities at each PRW USA and co-packer production site Produce master and specific schedules for production to meet delivery dates based on product inventories and anticipated manufacturing shipments Plan and coordinate activities to meet export market demand and legal requirements.
Lead weekly production planning meetings to ensure stakeholders alignment Function as single point of contact for issues of product status, product quantities, and time of delivery Report on achievement of KPIs relating to Forecast accuracy of sales, shipments, and Adherence to production plans Dry goods management Manage dry goods inventory levels ensuring a controlled flow of materials timed to meet production requirements Optimize order volumes to minimize purchase price variance impacts Develop and manage product specifications to determine dry goods requirements to support production plan In conjunction with Marketing teams, coordinate product development management to deliver NPD and packaging restages to agreed launch dates, specifications, and costs Manage the preparation and completion of label analysis, as it relates to winemaking and Government compliance Directly communicate annual material forecasts to suppliers and provide updates that reflect GDS updates to ensure availability of dry goods Report on achievement of KPIs relating to:
DIFOT, slow moving and obsolete dry goods stock, and PPV Inventory Management Provide customer service oriented inventory control support focused on delivering a best in class supply chain using group defined best practices that meet the needs and expectations of the operational activities for PRW USA winery sites (Mumm/Kenwood) and various co-packers Define inventory policy covering roles and responsibilities of all stakeholders, lead times, safety stock levels, and service level targets Ensure inventory levels are optimal and provide sufficient coverage to meet forecasted demands Monitor Inventory levels to mitigate shortage / surplus risks, including SLOBS Ensure formal workflows for the planning of raw materials in coordination with local and global Pernod Ricard stakeholders Investigate and correct discrepancies found between procurement and receival activities and accounting records Report on achievement of KPIs relating to:
DIC (days of inventory cover), forecast cover, and slow moving / obsolete.
Procurement Govern the PRW USA supply base through regular supplier evaluation and identification of quality improvement initiatives to ensure total support of operational requirements (i.
e.
Ensure a consistent supply of raw materials services at established specifications and costs).
Supplier Selection & Development - Establish and maintain reliable sources and partners for materials, services, and information through robust vendor selection and monitoring processes Establish purchasing policies and procedures covering the relevance, content, documentation, communication, and timeliness of all purchasing activities.
Train all applicable staff on established purchasing procedures For direct and indirect purchasing activities, ensure a fluid process with clear responsibilities from purchase order to payment.
Liaise with PR affiliates to leverage procurement synergies, participate in regional & global tenders, and share best practices Identify and develop Value Engineering pipeline to support PRW USA annual COGs initiatives Monitor and support all NPD projects to manage packaging changes and new product launches Support the annual budgeting process by providing proposed standard costs for materials and services based on tenders, commodity market conditions, volumes, MOQ's and PAF adjustments in full and on time KPIs - Support the internal and external communication of various reporting requirements including local/regional metrics, and PRW Headquarters & PR Holding requirements Monitor performance of major suppliers in conjunction with relevant stakeholders Leadership & People Management Quantify business objectives, develop a set of standards, clearly communicate expectations and appraise performance against objectives and standards.
Define levels of leadership and functional competencies for staff; define and support development plans.
Identify the training and developmental needs of key staff and development of an effective training program in conjunction with the HR department.
Set clear expectations to staff and constantly provide feedback ensuring to provide recognition when appropriate for the results achieved by both individuals and teams.
When needed, provide guidance, coaching and/or mentoring to staff to help achieve their goals and improve their performance.
Foster a results driven environment through teamwork and the demonstration of the PR values.

Experience:
Essential:
Proficiency in JD Edwards ERP and Microsoft Excel 3
years of successful experience in Supply Chain and/or manufacturing operations, including:
production planning, scheduling, inventory control, sales order fulfillment, or product distribution and shipment Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills; able to self-manage priorities, workflow and meet tight deadlines Team player with ability to negotiate with intra/inter organizational cross-functional teams Desirable:
Business experience in wine industry Certification in APICS or similar supply chain certificate Knowledge of State & Federal compliance regulation as it relates to label requirements and registration Special Conditions:
Some out of hours work may be required; Intra/Interstate travel as required; Current driver's license.
Work is performed in a typical field environment with moderate demands for movement and lifting.
Pay Transparency Disclosure:
The base pay scale offered for this position is $115,000 - $130,000 per year.
These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data.
